Why would you say the FF series has lasted so long?
I would say that changing the game(the no sequels rule) each time is a good thing and helps to keep the series popular, it doesn't get repetitive having the same storyline or battle-system for three or four games(not that that's bad either). I think they also have pretty good characters that keep people interested.

Yah its just they should make a final fantasy that connects to another like 34 to 35 I dunno maybe its a dumb idea, But i wanna know how come final fantasy makes alota good game but pokemon made like 56 different kinds and they all sold pokemon blue, pokemon green, pokemon aquamarine. HOW HOW HOW!?

I like the fact that they(Square) don't make sequels. It ensures that new technologies(which are abundent) can be implemented easily into the next installment because they can create what most would consider a whole new game. But every once in awhile they should stray from that habit and make a sequel. It would break the routine and keep everyone thinking. It would even keep all of us FF freaks on are toes, talking about which one we'd hope they'd make into a sequel.

I like how the keep the elements of the game for each one and improves it and they change basicly the the location of where it ia happening like planents. the story is all ways great and the charters are all right. I just love the game it gets me every time. Most of all if a game can get tears to my eyes it is a GREAT GAME.

this is my first time doing that and I guess I have to downlod them emulater or what ever. I Think K_Kid put something up about that in the computer area I might have to look it up to see how to work these things this should be fun.
