Biggs & Wedge

I can remember Biggs & Wedge only from FF VI, VII and VIII. In FFVI they were those 2 Magitek soldiers in the beginning, in FFVII they were those 2 Avalanche members and in FFVIII they were those 2 soldiers in that tower(?) in Dollet. I know Biggs & Wedge were taken out of Star Wars. There were 2 pilots flying with Skywalker called Biggs & Wedge. Who were they in FFI-FFV+FFIX-FFX???????? Or was FFVI their first appearence?

well, anyway, on-topic...
No, I've never seen them anywhere until FFVI...and I do believe, unless horribly mistaken, they WERE somewhere in FFX.
I think they were just random names taken from Star Wars (at least in the American versions of FF) given to two random cronies in the game...nothing special

Oh yeah, that's right Vicks & Wedge in FFVI. I have played the US version with an emulator. But in the just released PSX PAL version Vicks was changed with Biggs.

I once read a Star Wars fan fic w/ Luke's younger years he spent w/ Biggs, on Tatooine, before he went off to the Academy, then to the Rebellion...It was a very interesting story...
